Toghill is still a working farm and David, conscious of how remote farming has become from mainstream living, is very glad to show guests and their families how a West country farm operates at first hand.
Although Toghill now concentrates on crop growing there are rare breeds of sheep. Also English goats, Glouscester Old Spot pigs and bantams.

Toghill Farm has stabling which guests are welcome to use. Bring your own horse, practice in the all-weather surface arena and then try out the twenty-four jump cross- country course which follows the perimeter of most of the farm estate. The permanent jumps have all been constructed to a high standard by Badminton's own jump builders and offer a real challenge to the aspiring young equestrian.
We also have lovely walks following signs around our farmland and several longer planned walks taking a whole or half day. |
